Nautical and Civil Furniture Painting
Bluwood’s main area of expertise is the painting of nautical furniture and luxury design decor.Thanks to the combination of technology and craftsmanship, we guarantee a work by the book, through cutting-edge machinery and equipment, and thanks to the commitment and passion of our highly specialized and competent staff.
In our factory in Fano (PU), we deal with painting, varnishing and polishing, working for third parties on commissioned orders according to the specific indication of the client.
We carry out our works on any nautical and civil furniture accessory and components, both for interior and exterior use, with matte and glossy finishes.
For years we have been constantly painting the interior design of various boats, yachts and mega yachts lines, through the loyal partnership with carpenters specialized in the production of nautical furniture, not only in the area of Fano, but also in the whole national territory.

All the materials used, which are accurately selected, undergo our strict quality checks to provide the customer with long-lasting warranty extensions.

Yacht Service Assistance
To offer a complete and efficient assistance to our customers in the boating industry, we have a highly trained and qualified support team operating directly on board of the boats, which is dedicated exclusively to the operations of retouching and restoring of interior furnishing elements with flaws or damages.
In this field, Bluwood stands out for its marked dynamism, sustained by tradition and technology, operating directly at the customer premises (we carry out even pre-delivery boats retouching).
For many years to this day, we have been working in docks and in the most prestigious shipyards, both in Italy and abroad.
The company performs ordinary maintenance work, replacement and restoration of boats inner parts such as wood, leather, carpets, marbles, mosaics, curtains.
In particular, we are specialized in the varnishing and painting of wooden elements, whether fixed or movable, moreover, in the repairing and/or replacement of elements in leather and in carrying out screen printing glass operations on boats’ windows.
Taking advantage of a tested logistical management system, Bluwood can perform its activity not only in Italy, but also everywhere around the world, assuring immediate availability even in case of critical situations.
Leather Repair
Amongst the several services offered by Bluwood to its customers, the repair of damaged leather elements is undoubtedly the most innovative.
The company can make interventions on both fixed and movable elements on board, carrying out tonality changes on the finishing, fixing holes, scratches, lacerations and any other kind of pre-existing flaw.

Preliminary evaluation
The preparation of the workpiece surface and the choice of the coating system are the key steps to achieve an impeccable finished product.
All incoming material is carefully checked, in order to fix any defects that may affect the final quality of the coated material.

Sanding
We are equipped with specialized machinery and tools to treat any piece of decor (linear, curved, large, small, assembled
furniture) with several peculiarities (grids, L-shaped elements, joints/handles, framed panels).
The sanding of the workpiece surfaces is carried out either manually with sandpapers/abrasive sponges or by machine with semi-automatic “Nerli” sanding machines.

Coating
Painting is carried out in special pressurized cabins which provide a controlled environment guaranteeing safety, efficiency and top-quality finishes.
We use coating systems that are the result of years of experience and constantly cooperation with expert technicians in the field.
We select the specific paints for each type of surface, which respect the strictest safety standards and guarantee, in addition to the excellent aesthetic performance, resistance and durability of the coated material.
Production Process
Quality Control and Packaging
Once the material has been painted, it goes through a careful and accurate quality control.
Finally, the finished material is properly packed and stored in the company’s warehouse, waiting to be delivered to the customer.
